Ayurvedic perspective on preparing for pregnancy and post partum for the birth Mother:
This is a one day class for Ayurvedic Practitioners wanting to learn how to assist clients and patients in preparing for pregnancy and birth.
The class is 4 hours with a one hour lunch break in the middle of class. It is an online class and the teachers will send you a link the morning of class to log in.
Mary Thompson, CAS and Chelynn Tetreault, LMT, CAS will be teaching the course. The first half will cover relevant theory, anatomy and physiology from an Ayurvedic Medicine perspective, as well as important Ayurvedic approaches to enhance fertility and prepare for pregnancy. The second half will cover the post partum state of a Mother and practical applications such as appropriate diet and protocols the Mother should receive to insure proper healing and recovery. Some common postpartum imbalances and treatment protocols will be covered.
